Pistachio Croissants (with Green Chocolate Glaze)
Ingredients:
6 fresh croissants (store-bought or homemade)
200 g white chocolate
3 tbsp pistachio paste
½ cup chopped pistachios (for topping)
1 tsp butter (optional, for shine)
Instructions:
Melt the chocolate:
Place the white chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
Add pistachio paste:
Mix the pistachio paste into the melted chocolate until you get a creamy green glaze.
Coat the croissants:
Dip each croissant into the pistachio-chocolate glaze or drizzle it generously over the top.
Add toppings:
Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top before the glaze sets.
Chill:
Place in the fridge for about 20 minutes until the coating firms up.
Serve:
Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea — a luxurious pistachio treat with a French twist!
