2 sheets of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare the Puff Pastry: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Unroll the puff pastry sheets on a clean surface. Using a sharp knife, cut each sheet into a square or rectangle (about the same size as your cake pan). Place the pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each piece lightly with an egg wash (beat one egg and brush it on top of the pastry for a golden finish).
