Steak & Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients :
For the Steak
1–2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
For the Roasted Potatoes
3–4 medium potatoes, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Fresh parsley (optional) Instructions
Prep the Potatoes
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Toss diced potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread on a baking tray and roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.
Season the Steak
Pat steaks dry.
Rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Cook the Steak
Pan-sear method:
Heat a pan on high until hot.
Add steak and cook 3–4 min per side for medium-rare.
Add butter, crushed garlic, and herbs; spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1 minute.
Rest the steak for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve
Plate the juicy steak with crispy roasted potatoes, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
