Melt-in-the-Mouth Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
Lemon zest to taste (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a cake pan and set aside.
Whisk eggs and sugar: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add flour: Gradually add the flour to the egg mixture, whisking until smooth.
Add milk and melted butter: Add the milk and melted butter to the mixture, whisking until well combined.
Add baking powder: Add the baking powder and whisk until smooth.
Add lemon zest (optional): If using lemon zest, fold it into the batter.
Pour into cake pan: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
Make sure to not overmix the batter.
Adjust the amount of lemon zest to your taste.
