Fried Rice with Ground Beef and Vegetables

Ingredients:
3 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old and cold)
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, etc.)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs, beaten (for scrambled eggs)
Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the ingredients:
Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Measure out the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
Cook the ground beef:
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the aromatics:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil if needed.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add mixed vegetables:
Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to soften.
Combine rice and sauces:
Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps.
Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir-fry everything together until the rice is heated through and starting to brown.
Add the cooked beef:
Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and mix it with the rice and vegetables.
Create a well for eggs:
Push the rice mixture to one side of the skillet.
Pour the beaten eggs into the other side and scramble them until cooked through.
Mix the eggs with the rice mixture.
Season and serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the fried rice to a serving platter or individual plates.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
Tips:
Use day-old rice for the best texture.
Customize the mixed vegetables based on your preference.
Adjust the amount of soy sauce and oyster sauce to taste.
You can add other ingredients like shrimp or different proteins to suit your taste.
