Crispy Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:
For the Crispy Chicken:
2 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs or panko
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: pinch of nutmeg
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Pound chicken to even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Dredge in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a skillet and fry chicken until golden and fully cooked (about 4–5 min per side).
Transfer to paper towels. Slice after resting.
Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Stir in cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
Assemble:
Toss cooked pasta in Alfredo sauce.
Plate pasta and top with sliced crispy chicken.
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
Tips:
Add steamed broccoli or spinach for a veggie boost.
Try air frying the chicken for a lighter version.
Make it spicy by adding chili flakes or Cajun seasoning to the sauce or chicken.
